2SLGBTQIA+ is an inclusive acronym that represents a diverse range of sexual orientations and gender identities. Here’s what each part means:
2SLGBTQIA+ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਵੇਸ਼ੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ-ਸੰਖੇਪ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯੌਨ ਰੁਝਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲਿੰਗ ਪਛਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਭਿੰਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇਠਾਂ ਹਰ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ:
2S – Two-Spirit: a term used by some Indigenous North American peoples to describe a person who embodies both masculine and feminine spirits; it can include cultural, spiritual, and gender identity aspects.

L – Lesbian: a woman who is attracted to women.

B – Bisexual: someone attracted to more than one gender.
B – ਬਾਇਸੈਕਸ਼ੁਅਲ (Bisexual): ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਲਿੰਗ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਆਕਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
T – Transgender: someone whose gender identity differs from the sex they were assigned at birth.
T – ਟਰਾਂਸਜੈਂਡਰ (Transgender): ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਲਿੰਗ ਪਛਾਣ ਉਸ ਲਿੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਜੋ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਸਮੇਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
Q – Queer or Questioning:
Queer is an umbrella term for people who don’t fit traditional ideas of sexuality or gender.
Questioning refers to people who are exploring or unsure about their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Q – ਕਵੀਅਰ ਜਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ (Queer or Questioning):
ਕਵੀਅਰ (Queer): ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜੋ ਯੌਨਤਾ ਜਾਂ ਲਿੰਗ ਬਾਰੇ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਧਾਰਨਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੈਠਦੇ।
ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ (Questioning): ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਯੌਨ ਰੁਝਾਨ ਜਾਂ ਲਿੰਗ ਪਛਾਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਖੋਜ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਅਸਮਝ ਹਨ।
I – Intersex: people born with physical sex characteristics that don’t fit typical definitions of male or female.
I – ਇੰਟਰਸੈਕਸ (Intersex): ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜੋ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਰੀਰੀਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਤਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਜਾਂ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਪਰਿਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ।
A – Asexual or Aromantic (and sometimes Ally):
Asexual means experiencing little or no sexual attraction.
Aromantic means experiencing little or no romantic attraction.
Ally refers to someone who supports the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
A – ਏਸੈਕਸ਼ੁਅਲ ਜਾਂ ਏਰੋਮੈਂਟਿਕ (ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਐਲਾਈ):
ਏਸੈਕਸ਼ੁਅਲ (Asexual): ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਜਾਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਯੌਨ ਆਕਰਸ਼ਣ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਐਲਾਈ (Ally): ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਜੋ 2SLGBTQIA+ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
+ – represents other identities and orientations not specifically listed, such as pansexual, non-binary, or gender-fluid.
